Why Should You Insure Your Dinghy?
  • Protection Against Accidents and Damage: Even experienced sailors can encounter collisions, grounding, or unexpected weather. Insurance helps cover repair and replacement costs.
  • Liability Coverage: If your dinghy causes damage to another boat or property, or if someone is injured, liability cover protects you from expensive legal fees and compensation claims.
  • Theft and Vandalism: Due to their portability, dinghies can be stolen or vandalised, especially when stored in public places. Insurance helps cover replacement costs.
  • Cover for Racing Events: If you participate in dinghy races, optional racing cover ensures you are protected against race-related incidents.
  • Peace of Mind: Knowing you have financial protection in place allows you to enjoy your sailing experiences without stress. Whether you sail recreationally or competitively, insurance protects you against the unexpected.
