Can Topsail provide boat insurance for vessels registered in Jersey or just UK registered vessels visiting Jersey?
Topsail are able to offer boat insurance for both Jersey registered or UK registered vessel
As Topsail is based in the UK do I have to pay Insurance Premium Tax if my vessel is registered in Jersey
We’re pleased to say the answer is no. Vessels registered in Jersey are not liable to pay Insurance Premium Tax. This also applies for any Jersey registered vessel even if they are other territorial waters such as the UK or continental Europe.
Can I still arrange cruising outside of Channel Island waters?
As well as covering all local waters such as Guernsey, Jersey, Alderney, Sark, Topsail can arrange boat insurance that cover the adjacent French coast (e.g., St Malo, Cherbourg), UK Waters or arrange cover for further afield such as trips to the Baltic, Mediterranean or Oceanic passages.
What mooring areas do you cover?
The main marinas on Jersey are concentrated around St Helier Harbour and are managed by Jersey Marinas. Together they provide around 1,000 berths across three principal marinas.
