The upcoming Topsail charity golf day will welcome 14 golfers to the East Brighton Golf Course on 16 September.
The Topsail team of Chris McGowan, Robert Stevens and Dan Groves will compete alongside Peter Young of Peter Young Chartered Accountants, Beazley’s Simon Tonks, Condon Claims’ Simon Langridge, Navigators & General’s Martin Lovell and James Hunt, Sompo Canopius’ Philip Chandler, LA Marine’s Damian Vaile, Nautical’s Ian Crumpen, Yachtwork’s Jim Vintner, Towergate’s Chris Moon and Frances Henderson (previously Navigators & General).
The three and four-ball teams will play to win several prizes; winning team, nearest the pin (hole ten), longest drive (hole five), winning individual and best dressed golfer.
After arrival the players will come together with a hog roast for a day that promises to be full of entertainment. Along with the standard round of 18 holes there are opportunities for the players to purchase ‘mulligans’, an extra stroke to be used following a poor shot and a fun ‘guess the number of lost balls’.
Topsail has chosen the RNLI as their chosen charity for the event and all funds raised will be donated to the local Brighton lifeboat station.
