Members of the Topsail team have been on a personal fundraising mission since February tackling some brave and demanding challenges.
At the end of February Company Directors Robert Stevens and Chris McGowan took part in one of the largest running events in the South East running the 27th Vitality Brighton Half Marathon. Covering the 13-mile seafront course while battling the strong winds of the February storms, Chris ran in aid of the Marsden Cancer Charity.
Senior Account Executives Mollie and Laura have recently completed a very brave new challenge to raise money for the Blind Veterans UK charity. They both accomplished walking across 15 feet of hot coals and also broken glass in a Fire and Ice Walk event held in Ovingdean, Brighton.
Tackling the burning red hot coals and nearly five metres of ‘ice’ which consisted of hundreds of broken and sterilised glass bottles both Mollie and Laura together raised over £300 for the charity.
As a Company Topsail is this year supporting the Jubilee Sailing Trust by donating £1 from every yacht or motorboat insurance policy purchased between now and the end of the year.
